Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager, Laboratory Systems & Data Platforms, to lead strategy and governance for ELN/LIMS and related data platforms across DePuy Synthes R&D. You will partner with IT, Quality, cybersecurity, and manufacturing to deliver secure, scalable lab technologies.

Responsibilities include driving roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and coordinating multi-site deployments while managing budgets and vendor relationships. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field with related experience in regulated environments.
• 7–9 years in regulated industry, enterprise applications, digital products, laboratory systems, or scientific data platforms.
• Experience translating business needs into requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
• Experience with ELN, LIMS, and laboratory informatics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision, multi-year roadmap, governance model, and lifecycle strategy for laboratory systems and data platforms.
• Own demand intake, translate user needs into business requirements, and manage the backlog and prioritization.
• Lead release planning, deployment readiness, training coordination, and value realization.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and lifecycle management across global R&D laboratory technologies.
