Qualifications

• Phlebotomy knowledge to evaluate effectiveness and outcomes.
• Ability to read, write and speak conversational English.
• Experience leading/mentoring staff in a lab setting.
• Experience ensuring regulatory compliance and safety in a clinical lab.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in laboratory performance improvement activities.
• Coordinate staffing, interviewing, and training for lab team.
• Oversee pre-analytical and analytical lab activities and equipment maintenance.
• Mentor staff on safety, PPE and chemical handling protocols.
• Provide scheduling support and resolve staffing issues to maintain performance.
• Support education programs and student experiences in affiliated labs.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting for lab services.
