Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a lab supervisor to lead and coordinate phlebotomy teams, oversee performance improvement initiatives, and ensure safety and quality standards across the department. You will mentor staff, support student clinicians, and manage scheduling and workflow to sustain high performance.

The role requires leadership experience in a clinical laboratory, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a team in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement activities and staff coaching.
• Coordinates clinical student experiences and supports training.
• Maintains department organization and safety protocols.
• Ensures PPE, handwashing and hazardous chemical handling compliance.
