Job summary

Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Augusta, Maine, is seeking an Inventory & Property Associate I to support the Health and Environmental Testing Laboratory (HETL). The role includes shipping/receiving, data entry into LIMS, and coordinating with chemists, staff and the public to ensure timely results.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory and property management principles.
• Ability to use independent judgment on work priorities.
• Office/administrative support experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Enter sample details and demographics into LIMS.
• Assist clients with ordering testing kits and collecting fees.
• Receive and distribute parcel deliveries and maintain supplies.
• Coordinate with chemists, technicians and the public.
• Support scientific staff as needed.
