The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Augusta, Maine, seeks an Inventory & Property Associate I to manage inventory, assist with shipping/receiving, and support lab operations in a busy public health environment.

The role includes data entry into the LIMS system, coordination with scientific staff, and customer service duties for testing kits and related fees. The position offers hybrid work with some telework approved by management.

Competenze

• Experience in inventory and property management
• Ability to use independent judgment handling exceptions to priorities and schedules

Mansioni

• Enter sample details and demographic data into the LIMS system.
• Collaborate with chemists, microbiologists, and water treatment professionals.
• Assist clients with ordering testing kits and collecting fees.
• Assemble and ship sample collection test kits.
• Receive sample collection kits and review paperwork for accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Provide support for scientific staff.
• Facilitate proper distribution of samples within the laboratory.
• Maintain shipping supply materials.
