Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Hoboken/Jersey City offices. You will perform venipuncture, front-desk responsibilities, and essential clinical support to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

You’ll work in a collaborative, service‑driven environment using tools like Slack, G‑Suite, Zoom, Circulation and EMR, while ensuring quality care and efficient scheduling and communications.

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant certification from a recognized certifying body.
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• At least 6 months of MA or phlebotomy experience outside training/externship.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with multiple software systems and typing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and clinical support services to patients.
• Greet patients, manage intake, scheduling, and follow-up tasks.
• Assist with front desk duties including insurance verification and billing inquiries.
• Maintain lab standards: labeling, handling, processing specimens and sterilization.
• Use technology tools (Slack, G‑Suite, Zoom, EMR) to coordinate care.
• Support providers and virtual medical team with clerical tasks as needed.
