Job summary

Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Practice Management team, supporting front and back office clerical and clinical services across physicians’ offices.

You will perform venipunctures, vital signs, EKGs, and specimen handling; schedule and register patients; answer calls; and help physicians with daily tasks, while upholding strict patient confidentiality and the facility's compassionate standard.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 1–3 years hospital or physician’s office experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures, vital signs, and EKGs as required.
• Receive specimens from patients and document tests.
• Schedule and register patients; answer telephones; greet patients; assist physicians in office tasks.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
