Job summary

One Medical in Washington, DC is seeking a Float Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant (Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) to provide venipuncture and clinical support while delivering an exceptional patient experience. You will be the first point of contact, manage schedules, assist with billing and insurance, and ensure lobby space reflects the One Medical brand.

The role requires at least 6 months of experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist, strong customer service,

Qualifications

6+ months of relevant Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist experience outside training/externship.
Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with patients.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency with multiple software systems and technology.
Ability to work in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams; in-office travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide venipuncture and clinical support services to patients across offices.
Greet patients at front desk, manage check-in/check-out and scheduling.
Assist with billing, insurance verification, and follow-up tasks as needed.
Maintain lobby appearance and ensure space aligns with One Medical branding.
Master technology tools (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, EMR) for daily work.
