Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant (Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) to provide venipuncture and clinical support while delivering an exceptional patient experience in a busy office.

You'll manage front desk tasks, schedule care, assist with billing inquiries, and maintain the EMR system and office workflow, upholding One Medical's standards of care and patient-centered service.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE in all patient interactions to ensure a fluid, positive in-office experience.
• Provide venipuncture services for a broad age range.
• Perform and assist with extended scope duties (non-blood collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavage, vaccines, PPD tests, swabs).
• Maintain proper specimen labeling, handling, processing, inventory, and sterilization.
• Assist with member communications, billing inquiries, and clerical duties beyond the lab.
• Handle front-of-house tasks including check-in/out, insurance verification, and test prepping.
• Contribute to team development via huddles and problem solving.
• Perform opening/closing duties and keep spaces stocked and organized.
• Master Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, and EMR systems.
