Job summary

ALS Limited is hiring a Sample Preparation Technician (P2) for an on-site role in Reno, Nevada. You will work in the Sample Preparation Department with client samples, performing ringing, sieving, crushing, and other prep tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Work in hot and dusty environments.
• Perform repetitive tasks with manual dexterity.
• Lift up to 50 lbs with/without assistance.
• Basic desk work and light administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ringing, sieving and crushing samples under supervision.
• Load and unload drying ovens as needed.
• Maintain production logs and keep lab cleanliness.
• Assist with layout duties and sample handling requests.
• Inspect equipment and report adjustments to supervisor.
• Follow safety policies and practices at all times.
