Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Sample Login Technician to receive, log, and prepare samples for analysis at our Parsippany, New Jersey location. You will verify Chain of Custody, label samples, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely processing.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, a valid state driver’s license, and proficiency in English. No degree is required, and overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; samples are in coolers with ice.
• A valid state issued driver’s license.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• TWIC card and TSA clearance may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
• Potentially other client/location licenses or certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming samples or consignments in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Verify receipt against Chain of Custody (COC) and document discrepancies.
• Log samples into Lab Management System daily for tracking and distribute paperwork to Project Managers.
• Label samples and prepare bottle kits for shipment to clients for analysis.
• Forward samples to other labs as needed to complete tests.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and ensure SOP compliance.
• Stock supplies and assist with inventory; perform splits and composites as requested.
