Job summary

Eurofins Scientific seeks a Lab Sample Handler to unpack environmental samples at the lab, record temperatures, and organize shipments. You will ensure sample integrity, verify against client paperwork, and support Sample Registration and Bottles Preparation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, basic computer skills, and excellent English. US work authorization is required to join our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for a full shift.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Unpack sample kits and coolers that are received at the lab.
• Take and record the temperature of all environmental samples and chilled pharmaceutical samples.
• Compare sample containers against client paperwork and document discrepancies.
• Organize samples by project onto carts and transfer to the Sample Registration area for entry.
• Inform Sample Registration of projects received above temperature or with excessive damage; notify of short holding time or rush samples.
• Follow SOPs and safety precautions; assist in Sample Registration and Bottles Prep as needed.
