Job summary

ALS is seeking a Sample Receiving Technician in Middletown Township, PA. You will receive samples from outside clients and field personnel, inspect containers and preservatives, and log items into the LIMS system.

You will transport samples to storage, dispose of expired specimens, and ensure compliance with SOPs and QA manuals. We value detail orientation, accurate data entry, and clear English communication in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with ability to interpret client chain of custody.
• Excellent typing and data-entry skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples from outside clients and field personnel.
• Inspect containers, temperatures, preservatives, etc.
• Log samples into LIMS accurately.
• Transport samples to storage and dispose of expired ones.
• Follow SOPs and QA manuals; maintain professional conduct.
• Other duties as assigned.
