Job summary

QPS, LLC in Newark, DE is seeking a Sample Receipt Specialist to join the Bioanalytical Support team. You will receive, track, store, and return client samples, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FDA regulations.

Proficiency with LIMS and Excel is required, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Qualifications include an Associate degree in a related science (Bachelor's preferred) or a HS diploma with 3+ years of experience; experience in regulated industries

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in handling and tracking samples
• Experience with regulated industries is preferred
• Comfort with computer systems and databases (Excel, LIMS)

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, store, distribute, track, and return client samples and other controlled materials without loss or damage
• Complete inventory and document discrepancies
• Receive and reconcile shipped samples with paper manifests and an electronic database
• Learn and run LIMS for tracking samples through their life cycle
• Import data from documents into LIMS using Excel manipulation
• Review documentation to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GLPs, and QPS SOPs
• Communicate issues to Principal Investigator and external clients
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; up to 50 pounds
