Job summary

ALS is seeking a Login Technician to receive and process samples from outside clients and field personnel. You will log samples into the LIMS, verify containers and temperatures, and ensure accurate record-keeping while maintaining professional standards.

You will transport and store samples, dispose of expired materials, and follow ALS SOPs and QA manuals. Strong data-entry, attention to detail, and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and accurate data transcription from client custody documents.
• Good typing/data-entry skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Familiarity with chemical symbols and general scientific terminology.
• Clear spoken and written English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples from outside clients and field personnel and verify containers, temperatures, and preservatives.
• Log samples into the laboratory LIMS system accurately.
• Transport samples to proper storage locations and dispose of expired samples.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure compliance with SOPs and QA manuals.
