Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva, IL is seeking a Lab Resource Coordinator for a full-time, 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm) role. You'll coordinate section staffing, manage inventory, and ensure efficient laboratory operations.

Reporting to the Manager, you will supervise staff, monitor overtime, help develop SOPs, and uphold safety and regulatory standards across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science or medical technology.
• MLS/BB/C/CG/CT/H/HTL/I/M/MB ASCP certification within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum of two years of clinical laboratory experience; five years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and equipment for the designated section.
• Oversee inventory and supply requests within budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and development for section personnel.
• Assist in SOP revisions and process improvements.
