Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a general lab, specimen processing or phlebotomy, or enrolled in a lab-related education program.
• Phlebotomy certification or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lab staff and clinicians to ensure excellent patient care.
• Receives specimens into the laboratory information system and inputs/retrieves results.
• Register specimen drop-offs in LIS and ensure accurate data entry.
• Process specimens for transport to reference laboratories and distribute to testing areas.
• Maintain instrument QA/QC and operate laboratory automation systems as appropriate.
