Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support patients and staff by handling phone inquiries, data entry, and delivery of lab reports. You will review lab requisitions, perform quality checks, and help ensure timely communication across departments in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires one year of clinical lab experience or equivalent education, strong English communication, and the ability to work weekends and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of applicable clinical lab work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to use a computer for data entry and retrieval.
• Ability to work weekends, and rotating shifts including evenings, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a supportive link between UCI customers (internal and external).
• Perform phone calls, data entry, and printing/delivering lab reports.
• Review lab requisitions and perform quality reviews and troubleshooting.
