Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA is seeking a lab support and customer service professional to facilitate communications between internal and external customers. The role includes phone calls, data entry, printing and delivering lab reports, and reviewing requisitions for quality and troubleshooting.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of clinical lab experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work weekends and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of applicable clinical lab work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Demonstrated experience using a computer, including data entry and retrieval
• Ability to work weekends, and rotating shifts including evenings, nights and holidays
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization
• Preferred qualifications: Previous experience in customer service
• Preferred qualifications: Experience with lab/hospital computer systems and software
