Job summary

Bellevue University seeks a Lab Supervisor to oversee the Computer Lab and Math Lab at the Bellevue campus, ensuring efficient operation and staff supervision. You will coordinate services for students, staff, and faculty, train Lab Attendants, manage equipment and resource availability, and implement SOPs while collaborating with the Director, Technical Support Services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience assisting users in a computer lab.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems (Windows 7/8) and Mac OS (Mountain Lion, Yosemite).
• Experience with VMware and Zero Client devices; understanding virtualization.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train staff and supervise lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Computer Lab and Math Lab operations.
• Creates staff schedules ensuring full coverage.
• Hires and trains Lab Attendants on hardware/software.
• Develops SOPs for lab resources.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and lab reservations.
• Assists users with software/hardware and performs diagnostics.
• Coordinates software installations and repairs.
• Keeps up-to-date with lab technology trends.
• Ensures building security at closing.
