Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Missouri seeks a Supervisor, Lab to coordinate and oversee laboratory operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will manage staffing, scheduling, training, QC, supply management, and collaborations with clinical teams.

You'll monitor financial performance, support process improvements, and provide technical expertise with occasional testing responsibilities, while maintaining a safe work environment and adherence to infection

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Physical Science; meet CLIA high-complexity testing requirements.
• 1-2 years of related experience in the profession.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lab operations including staffing, scheduling, workflow, and inventory.
• Ensure timely, accurate test results complying with CAP/CLIA/Joint Commission.
• Manage QC and proficiency testing; document actions and corrective steps.
• Lead staff development through training, coaching, and evaluations.
• Maintain equipment with preventive maintenance and issue escalation.
• Support budgeting, monitor supply usage and reduce waste.
• Foster communication with clinical teams and leadership.
• Ensure safe, compliant work environment with infection control policies.
• Drive process improvements to boost efficiency and patient care.
