Job summary
Natera is seeking a Laboratory Manager to own the physical operations, asset management, and EH&S compliance for a high-throughput NGS lab. You will ensure a clean, safe workspace while coordinating maintenance and inventory for contracted projects.
The role requires at least two years of hands-on lab experience and strong organizational and communication skills to enable data-driven decisions and seamless cross-team collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or a related field.
- At least two years of hands-on laboratory experience; lab management experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized laboratory that meets standards.
- Own housekeeping schedules, decontamination routines, and waste management.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration, service visits for major instrumentation to minimize downtime.
- Manage end-to-end inventory, tracking reagents, consumables, and controls.
- Onboard new team members to lab systems, safety, and standard practices.
