Job summary

Natera is seeking a Manager, Clinical Lab to lead manufacturing methods and operations while ensuring GMP/CLIA/CAP compliance. You will optimize use of materials, equipment and personnel to produce high-quality products.

Lead lab teams, drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, CAPAs/NCRs, and coordinate with OPS, Engineering, Stats and R&D to deliver timely results and scalable processes. This role requires strong leadership in a high-volume lab environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Biological Sciences or related field
• Minimum 3+ years in leadership roles
• Minimum 5+ years industry experience
• Current ASCP/California CLS or CGMBS license

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic leadership to laboratory products.
• Generate executive-level production summaries.
• Monitor workflow to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Plan for future staffing and equipment needs.
• Manage headcount, PTO and overtime.
• Lead continuous improvement projects in the lab.
• Oversee lab operations for the team.
• Serve as go-to expert when senior leadership unavailable.
• Ensure seamless automation transitions into production.
• Analyze and troubleshoot processing errors and guide decisions.
• Support NCR closures and CAPA initiation/closure.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and approved procedures.
