Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Scientist 3 - Laboratory and Instrumentation Coordinator to oversee laboratory operations on a long-term Parexel FSP assignment at a client site in Rahway, NJ. The role focuses on daily lab activities, resource optimization, and safety implementation, with emphasis on efficient testing workflows.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in life sciences or engineering and has 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with PC software to support

Qualifications

• Proven laboratory management experience with a strong understanding of lab operations and safety protocols.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for laboratory functions, providing guidance and support to laboratory staff.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operations during lab stand-downs and organizational initiatives.
• Manage temperature storage facilities, including emergency protocols and scheduled clean-outs.
• Prepare mobile phase and stock solutions for platform assays, ensuring they remain stocked and within expiry date.
• Receive samples through our laboratory management system, ensuring samples are ready for testing.
