Job summary

Parexel FSP seeks a Scientist 3 - Laboratory and Instrumentation Coordinator for a full-time, on-site role at a client site in Rahway, NJ. You will oversee daily lab operations, coordinate equipment maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance across multiple labs.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or similar life sciences or engineering discipline
• 3–5 years of relevant experience for Scientist 3
• Experience in laboratory management and safety.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for laboratory functions and staff guidance.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth operations during stand-downs and initiatives.
• Manage temperature storage facilities and safety protocols.
• Prepare mobile phase and stock solutions, ensure expiry compliance.
• Receive samples and ensure readiness for testing.
• Submit work orders and coordinate calibrations for lab equipment.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and supervise technicians.
• Manage lab utilities and inventory, streamline procurement.
• Escort and supervise equipment technicians on-site.
