Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of facilities management experience in life science, healthcare, or laboratory environments.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems.
• Experience using CMMS and Microsoft Office for work order management and reporting.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and EH&S practices for labs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical systems, and specialized laboratory systems.
• Manage work order systems and track requests from initiation to completion with clear stakeholder communication.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and walkthroughs to identify issues and generate corrective work orders.
• Serve as liaison between occupants, vendors, contractors, and facilities management to address requests.
• Develop and manage client relationships to meet service levels and satisfaction.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental, and risk policies; assist in audits.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, monthly spend reports, and vendor contracts.
• Assist in purchase orders and procurement for supported locations.
