Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Sr. Lab Equipment Coordinator to oversee the equipment lifecycle in a regulated life sciences environment.

You will manage CMMS asset induction, maintenance scheduling, calibration, and vendor coordination to ensure minimal disruption to laboratory operations. The role requires detail-oriented, safety-focused candidates with at least 2 years of experience in laboratory equipment coordination, asset management, and cross-functional collaboration across

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years supporting laboratory equipment, operations, or related technical coordination.
• Experience using CMMS for work orders, asset records, and maintenance schedules.
• Experience coordinating across vendors and internal stakeholders in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage CMMS asset induction, location/status updates, preventive maintenance, calibration scheduling, labeling, and retirement support.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance with owners, stakeholders, and vendors to minimize lab disruption.
• Process and track work orders, purchase orders, service quotes, approvals, and documentation.
• Coordinate equipment service vendors, scheduling, site access, and communication of requirements.
• Review Job Hazard Analyses and ensure safety controls and lockout/tagout procedures are followed.
• Communicate service status and risks to stakeholders and adjust schedules as needed.
• Coordinate downtime for remotely monitored equipment and manage alert controls during service activities.
• Monitor vendor reports and ensure accuracy of documentation; follow up on issues and next steps.
• Develop and maintain workflows, records, and templates for equipment lifecycle and vendor management.
