Job summary

Precise Software Solutions, Inc. is seeking an IT Laboratory Support Specialist to provide first-line IT support for twelve laboratories. The role includes instrumentation IT maintenance, LIMS support, and user training.

The candidate must work onsite in Bothell, WA with potential remote support for other US laboratories and occasional travel. The successful candidate will blend IT and laboratory experience, handle incident management, and collaborate with a dispersed team to ensure continuous

Qualifications

• Combination of laboratory and IT experience/education is required.
• 1 year experience in a laboratory environment providing hands-on IT support or lab duties.
• 2 years IT support experience with direct user contact and strong customer service.
• BioMedical IT experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to travel for on-site support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents (Windows/Mac).
• Install and configure IT equipment for laboratory environments.
• Provide first-line IT support to analysts and end users of LIMS.
• Manage user accounts and support LIMS configuration and training.
• Document requests and resolutions in the service desk system.
• Coordinate with instrument vendors for installation and troubleshooting.
