Job summary

JTG Consulting Group is seeking a Lab IT Solution Engineer to support the Sales organization by translating laboratory IT needs into defined solutions and accurate quotes. You will collaborate with Sales, Services, and subject matter experts to document requirements and ensure proposed solutions are technically sound and aligned with client needs.

Responsibilities include pre-sales participation, client calls, and presenting quotes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Laboratory Information Systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Clinical Processes.
• Minimum 2 years in solution engineering or HIT implementations.
• Demonstrated experience developing scopes, estimates, quotes, proposals, and SOWs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales during client discovery and scoping with technical questions.
• Translate client needs into clearly defined proposed solutions including scope and pricing.
• Coordinate review of proposed solutions for feasibility, risks, and assumptions.
• Lead the technical portion of client scope walkthroughs with Sales and SMEs.
• Develop client quotes reflecting defined scope, resources, and timelines.
• Support pre-sales activities including client calls and proposals.
• Maintain and update solution engineering materials and templates.
