Job summary

Amentum Advanced Solutions seeks a Network and System Administrator to design, install, and manage development environments for internal and client use. You will work on Windows and Linux servers, storage, license servers, and virtualization, ensuring project readiness and security compliance.

The role requires teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi-project setting with after-hours on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree as specified with 0–4 years (BS 0–2).
• Strong troubleshooting and fundamentals in networking.
• Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Setup, configuration and management of development environments (Windows & Linux).
• Administer storage systems and license servers for engineering software.
• Deploy and manage virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V, Proxmox VE).
• Support Linux HPC environments (Debian/RHEL).
• Document configurations and SOPs; monitor health and backups.
