Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate Engineer, IT Laboratory Systems to support benchtop IT systems in a GMP-regulated environment at Summit, NJ. This role provides hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and operational execution to ensure system availability and compliance across manufacturing and laboratory operations.

The position primarily supports standard business hours with potential nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• One year of technical support experience or relevant IT certifications.
• Working knowledge of laboratory and manufacturing systems operating in regulated GMP/GxP environments.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for laboratory benchtop equipment, IT systems, instruments and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, software, hardware, network, and integration issues across GMP environments.
• Execute and support system implementations, upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and technology refresh projects.
• Support qualification, validation, and computer system lifecycle activities, including testing and documentation review.
• Collaborate with Quality, Validation, Manufacturing, Laboratory Operations, vendors, and IT teams to ensure compliance and readiness.
