Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Devens, MA seeks an Associate Director, Campus Laboratory and Benchtop Systems to lead the campus-wide informatics strategy and supervise the Lab IT team, ensuring validated software and compliant lab automation across GxP and non-GxP operations.

You will partner with Quality, Research, Manufacturing, and Digital Plant teams to define requirements, drive improvements, manage SLAs, and maintain audit readiness while aligning with USP, ICH, and data integrity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical laboratory operations and informatics.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Expertise in 21 CFR Part 11, USP <1058>, GAMP 5, and ICH guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory software and lab automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead campus Laboratory and Benchtop Systems team.
• Define validation, qualification, and lifecycle management of lab software.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement and collaboration with Quality, R&D, Manufacturing.
• Oversee SLAs and vendor management.
