Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Engineer for Lab Automation in Devens, MA. You will manage documentation and support for laboratory automation software and hardware across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include configuring computerized systems, leading qualification activities, training end-users, and collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, and Digital teams to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; 5+ years in pharma lab ops or informatics.
Hands-on experience configuring automation software and system integrations (e.g., Hamilton Venus).
Knowledge of lab/quality systems for Biologics or Cell Therapy.
Experience with CSV, GMP, FDA, GAMP and 21 CFR Part 11 guidance.

Responsibilities

Execute and manage documentation for lab automation assets and software.
Configure and support computerized systems and hardware on the manufacturing floor.
Lead system qualification and requalification activities and end-user training.
Mentor staff on documentation practices and technical processes.
Provide SME guidance to cross-functional teams on data integrity and cyber security.
