Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Engineer - Lab Automation in Devens, MA to lead automation projects, configure and support lab software, and drive validation activities on the manufacturing floor. You will act as SME for method automation and ensure data integrity and cyber security across systems.

The role requires deep experience with lab automation software, instrument drivers, and system integrations, plus strong troubleshooting and cross-team communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 5+ years in pharmaceutical lab ops, informatics, or IT roles supporting labs.
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining automation software.
• Knowledge of data integrity, cyber security and CSV/GMP/GAMP/GxP basics.
• Experience with lab orchestration/scheduling software and instrument drivers.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage documentation for lab automation assets and software.
• Configure and support computerized systems and software on the lab floor.
• Lead validation activities (IQ/OQ) and qualification projects.
• Provide SME guidance to cross-functional teams on configurations and data integrity.
• Mentor staff on documentation practices and technical processes.
• Provide on-call support for 24/7 operations and participate in audits.
