Job summary

Labcorp in Raritan, New Jersey, invites students to join its 11-week paid internship as Lab Intern, working Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm.

You will shadow laboratory professionals, assist with specimen handling, inventory, and basic techniques under supervision, gaining real-world diagnostics experience.

Eligibility includes enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s program; the program includes mentoring, leadership exposure, and opportunities to join Labcorp's mission to innovate healthcare.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects.
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures.
