Job summary

Labcorp in Raritan, New Jersey, seeks a Lab Intern for an 11-week full-time internship (Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm). You will shadow laboratory professionals, assist with non-testing tasks, and participate in approved mock testing under supervision.

Eligible candidates are currently enrolled in a Chemical/Biological/Clinical Lab Science or Medical Technology bachelor’s program with a strong interest in laboratory science and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program.
• Interest in laboratory science and diagnostics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects.
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures.
