Job summary

BioPhase Solutions is seeking a System Support Specialist to join the Global Systems Support team. The role involves hands-on reliability and burn-in testing of laboratory instrumentation, troubleshooting complex system issues, and providing technical support to a junior teammate.

The position is a 6–12 month contract, fully onsite in a highly collaborative environment with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Service teams to ensure instrument reliability before release.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, or related).
3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience with laboratory instrumentation or technical equipment.
Strong troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
Excellent written communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Perform burn-in, soak, and reliability testing on laboratory instrumentation.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, communication, and instrument errors.
Coordinate with Eng, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Service to resolve issues.
Document performance, failures, and test results with SOP-compliant processes.
Provide guidance to a junior System Support Technician and support installation and release activities.
