Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer for an onsite Lake Forest, CA assignment focused on reliability and quality engineering for instrument-based products. You will conduct test automation, HALT/ALT, and environmental testing, supporting NPI from R&D into manufacturing.

The role requires LabVIEW, Python, and R proficiency, familiarity with GMP/QSR, CAN bus and Ethernet, and strong statistical analysis skills to verify and validate products in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 4+ years R&D focused on new product reliability and quality.
• Experience applying reliability engineering principles in a regulated setting.
• Familiarity with GMP/QSR regulations and statistical methods.
• Embedded systems knowledge and communication protocols a plus.
• Strong ability to prepare technical reports and presentations in English.

Responsibilities

• Reliability and Quality Engineering across NPI from R&D to manufacturing.
• LabVIEW, Python, and R test automation for product verification.
• HALT/ALT, environmental and life testing of instrument-based products.
• Statistical analysis, tolerancing, simulation, and measurement science.
• Verification, validation, and DHF documentation.
