Job summary

Mettler Toledo is seeking an Instrument Sales Specialist for the San Antonio, TX region to sell titration, melting point, dropping point, UV/Vis, density, and refractometry instruments and supplies. You will be the primary company representative, maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering service while meeting sales goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, 3+ years sales experience preferred in lab equipment, and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field required.
• 1–3 years of lab experience required.
• At least 3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Strong ERP/CRM software experience required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively grow and achieve the annual sales target in both revenue and units.
• Organize, plan and schedule time for optimal account coverage.
• Identify and develop key accounts in the territory and maintain a customer database.
• Maintain demo inventory at standard cost carry levels and manage budgets.
• Promote other divisions by writing leads for related products and discuss opportunities with local reps.
• Attend tradeshows and meetings to support objectives and complete assignments.
• Develop product knowledge to be recognized as an expert in the field.
• Support national promotions and fulfill obligations as specified.
• Provide on-site product demonstrations, training, installations, and technical support.
• Maintain SAP CRM database daily.
• Pursue all potential customers identified by leads from the company.
