Job summary

Mercy Health Partners Lorain Hospital is seeking a PRN Lab Client Services representative to support the Lab Outreach - Lorain. The role involves receptionist duties, patient and specimen collection and registration, test ordering and billing verification, and preparing results for mailing.

Responsibilities include answering calls, assisting physician offices, resolving billing issues, processing specimens, registering patients, and generating reports, with travel to off-site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Medical secretarial experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical office preferred.
• PRN/as-needed schedule requires flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Answers and initiates phone calls.
• Supports Physician office needs.
• Investigates patient and client billing issues.
• Processes specimen and add-ons.
• Registers patients.
• Generates reports.
• Maintains inventory levels and stocks supplies.
• May perform specimen collection.
