Job summary

Responsibilities include answering calls, assisting physician offices, processing specimens, and maintaining supplies. Prior medical/secretarial experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED (required).
• Medical secretarial experience preferred.
• Medical administrative assistant experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers and initiates phone calls.
• Supports Physician office needs.
• Investigates patient and client billing issues.
• Processes specimen and add-ons.
• Registers patients.
• Generates reports.
• Maintains inventory levels and stocks supplies.
• May perform specimen collection.
