Mercy Health in North Lima invites a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Outreach team. You will draw quality blood samples, prep specimens for testing, and perform clerical duties to keep the department efficient.

Candidates should have a High School degree or GED; phlebotomist certification is preferred but not required, and one year of phlebotomy or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-pasted environment.

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting patients and community in a respectful manner.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures and ensures proper processing.
• Identifies patients accurately and matches identity with the correct service for patient safety.
• Data entry and processing of specimens by labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing as requested by test orders.
• Performs departmental clerical duties such as inventory, stock supplies, and answering phones as needed.
• Must possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
