Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Global Medical Products and Distribution (GMPD) segment seeks a Lab Diagnostic Sales Specialist to manage the sales process of capital equipment in clinical laboratories across Ohio, WV, MI, IN, KY, and TN.

Responsibilities include lead generation, financial modeling, and collaboration with manufacturer partners to close system sales in chemistry, immunology, histology, microbiology, hematology, and molecular diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred.
• Experience selling capital equipment in hospitals or reference laboratories.
• Understanding of laboratory workflow and processes.
• Experience in complex sales with demonstrated success.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience with Microsoft applications and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new sales opportunities and develop plans with manufacturers and Lab Product Representatives.
• Maintain a robust pipeline across the diagnostic instrumentation portfolio.
• Lead end-to-end sales of capital equipment in the clinical laboratory.
• Provide competitive differentiation and value to customer solutions.
• Conduct system demonstrations and presentations for customers.
