Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Specimen processing experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable with raw specimen handling.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret SOPs and policies.
• Position may require evening and weekend hours.
• 1 year of data entry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review order entry information in LIMS and test ordering systems.
• Prioritize workflow and manage time efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records per good documentation practices.
• Resolve patient demographic issues or discrepancies.
• Process correction requests promptly.
• Adhere to data management policies and protocols.
• Prepare records for long-term storage.
• Verify samples for type, stability, volume, and other requirements.
• Label samples for delivery to correct areas.
• Maintain sample storage materials.
• Maintain quality control and QA records.
• Ensure laboratory safety compliance.
• Collaborate with lab staff to complete daily activities.
