Job summary

Eurofins Viracor LLC in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Laboratory Specimen Processor to perform accessioning and data entry with high proficiency. The role focuses on sample handling, accuracy, and timely documentation in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

The position requires attention to detail, ability to meet data requirements, and flexibility for possible evening/weekend shifts. You will work closely with lab teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance while supporting ongoing clinical

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Specimen processing in a Clinical Laboratory setting or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 30 WPM typing demonstrated during interview.
• Ability to read, interpret and comply with SOPs and policies.
• Evening and weekend hours may be required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform accessioning and data entry with high accuracy.
• Examine samples for accuracy and required details.
• Label samples for delivery to appropriate areas.
• Maintain sample storage materials and handle dry ice as needed.
• Resolve patient demographic issues or discrepancies.
• Provide administrative support for clinical laboratory projects.
• Coordinate with lab staff to complete daily activities.
