Job summary

Eurofins Viracor LLC is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support accessioning, specimen management, data entry in LIMS, and quality control in Lenexa, KS. The role focuses on accurate handling of samples, adherence to SOPs, and effective communication with clients to resolve issues.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with preferred 2 years in a clinical laboratory and comfort with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable with raw specimen handling.
• Ability to read, interpret and comply with SOPs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document incoming shipments.
• Examine samples for accuracy (type, volume).
• Resolve sample/testing issues with clients.
• Perform data entry in LIMS and maintain records.
• Label, store, and transport samples as required.
• Assist with shipping and quality control tasks.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with lab staff to ensure smooth workflow.
