Job summary

Eurofins Viracor LLC is seeking a Laboratory Assistant in Lenexa, KS. The role involves accessioning, specimen management, data entry, and storage with a focus on accuracy and compliance with SOPs.

The candidate will interact with clients to resolve discrepancies and support laboratory operations. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 2 years of lab experience preferred, and the ability to work evening/weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and comply with SOPs and guidelines.
• Proficiency with basic PC software and database skills.
• Potential for evening and weekend hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming samples and document accurately.
• Examine samples for type and volume requirements.
• Contact clients to resolve sample/testing issues.
• Enter data into LIMS and maintain records of QA/QC.
• Prepare specimens for shipping and ensure proper storage.
