Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a detail-oriented intake/dispatcher to support internal and external customers. You will document client information, dispatch couriers, and maintain logs/databases.

The role also aids in report design, staff training, and issue resolution with strong communication. Shifts are 2:00PM–10:00PM, 3 days weekly with rotating weekends/holidays; benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and organizational skills required.
• Experience with database/spreadsheet tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document client information/requests and dispatch couriers.
• Document communications/events in logs and databases.
• Assist in development of reports and monthly statistics.
• Train new staff and monitor their progress per guidelines.
• Address client concerns by researching problems and providing resolutions.
• Maintain schedule for routine and on-demand routes.
• Handle pick-ups/deliveries from lab, pharmacy, homecare, hospitals, clinics and offices.
