bioMérieux is seeking an Assay Production Supervisor - Accellix in Illinois to lead daily manufacturing activities for the Accellix product line. The role provides hands-on leadership for technicians and serves as the technical resource for reagent formulation, liquid handling, assay workflows, and controlled drying operations.

The supervisor ensures safety, quality, and on-time delivery while maintaining compliance with GMP requirements and collaborating with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain,

Qualifications

• 6+ years in biotechnology, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments with quality systems and production metrics.
• 2+ years of leadership experience including supervising technical personnel.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
• Assign work, monitor progress, and adjust resources to support production priorities.
• Provide guidance on reagent preparation, liquid handling, and assay workflows.
• Support troubleshooting of process, equipment, and workflow issues.
• Supervise, coach, and develop manufacturing technicians.
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with GMP, GDP, and approved procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Planning teams.
• Communicate production status, risks, and improvements to leadership.
