Job summary

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or be able to obtain within six months.
• One year of experience performing routine laboratory testing and phlebotomy.
• Knowledge or experience working with diverse cultural groups is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen collection and handles testing according to standards.
• Maintains quality results by running standards and controls.
• Oversees testing in laboratory, pathology, and cytology areas.
• Performs CLIA-waived and moderate testing to aid diagnosis.
• Maintains inventory and ensures supplies are available.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and risk policies; supports education.
